Barcelona have linked with Arsenal's center-back Gabriel - report

 The latest player to be linked with a move to Barcelona this week is Arsenal center-back Gabriel, who is well-liked at the Catalan club, and could be the target of a transfer approach this summer, according to Diario Sport. The 24-year-old, who arrived at Emirates Stadium two years ago, has become a component of the Gunners' defense with his physical gifts, air dominance and excellent passing skills. Brazil International are one of the best players of Arsenal's young team, led by Michael Arteta, and are attracting real interest from major European clubs, including Barcelona. Gabriel is also a midfielder and Clement Langelet and Samuel Eto'o have been left out of Xavi Hernandez's plans. Barcelona already have Gerard Pique, Ronaldo Aurozo and Eric Garcia, and Andreas Christensen will join Chelsea on a free transfer in July, but all four are right-handed defenders and signing someone like Gabriel would be a great move.
